Dr. Lana Nashef is the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of ICONIC DENT, where she leads the clinical vision of the practice with a strong focus on patient safety, quality care, and a calm, reassuring treatment experience. She is known for creating a welcoming environment in which patients feel supported and at ease, particularly those who experience dental anxiety.
She began her dental journey in 2016 at UMF University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Dr. Lana Nashef is a GDC-registered dentist in the United Kingdom and also holds registration to practise within the European Union. Her clinical experience spans both NHS and private dental settings across the UK, allowing her to manage a broad range of cases with confidence and care.
Dr. Lana Nashef holds a Diploma in Periodontology and is currently completing a Master’s Degree in Oral Implantology at Aston University. Her postgraduate training is grounded in implant dentistry, aesthetic and restorative care, and facial aesthetics, with a strong emphasis on digital workflows that support precision, predictability, and long-term clinical success. This approach allows her to deliver well-planned, natural results tailored to each patient’s needs.
She has completed comprehensive training in clear aligner therapy and provides treatment using Invisalign® and Spark™ aligner systems, and has undertaken advanced aesthetic dentistry training at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London under the mentorship of Dr. Dina Dedi. She is also currently undertaking training in Intravenous Conscious Sedation in line with IACSD guidance, further enhancing patient comfort and safety.
As Clinical Director at ICONIC DENT, Dr. Lana Nashef is closely involved in treatment planning and clinical governance, ensuring care is personalised, evidence-based, and delivered to the highest professional standards.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Lana Nashef enjoys swimming, reading, meditation, and cooking. She values balance and wellbeing and believes this mindful approach naturally reflects in the way she practises dentistry.
